About TTM
TTM stands for To The Max, as our founders name is Max and this phrase describes his personality well.
Max's boxing journey began when he was 14 and quite overweight, his friends would bring gloves to school to spar at lunchtime for fun. Despite Max being overweight and unfit, he had a natural flair for the sport which challenged them. Max then began training at a boxing gym and quickly found himself obsessed with the sport, losing 20kg of weight in the process and fighting as an amateur. For the following 9 years, Max trained and fought under some of the best trainers Australia had to offer, seeing him train alongside and spar with some of the best boxers in the country.
During Max's late teen years while boxing and competing, he spent a lot of his weekends and time outside of work and the gym alone and would rarely hang around people. Choosing this time to learn about himself, acquire knowledge, set the direction of where he wanted to be in life, read books and listen to audios and always try to learn as much as he could to be a better person. Including completing a 24 day water fast with the intention of going within and gaining insight.
Until this point Max was born and raised in a country town and worked as a carpenter while boxing. It wasn't until his boxing trainer decided to retire from training and Max was left with 2 options: Go to the city and chase his dream or hang up the gloves. Afraid of regret, Max packed up everything and moved to Western Sydney in 2017 where he knew no one and chased his dream for the next 3 years there.
When Max's life took a new direction in 2020, he moved to Sydney's Eastern suburbs, and worked at a gym, It was only a matter of time before members found out that he was a boxer. During the pandemic lockdowns when the demand for outdoor training grew, members reached out to Max to box in local parks. Max's approach became centred around teaching his technique and sharing knowledge, while connecting with people on keeping a healthy mindset. The more people heard about Max's training, knowledge and outlook on life, the more Max's purpose became clear, and so TTM was born.
Along the way of Max having transformed his own body over the years, he then on the side transformed many of his clients and those around him using the same methods he'd used on himself, while the main focus still being the boxing training. Once people were quitting their current coaching and online programs to follow Max's methods and advice, he realised he was onto something. It then got to the point where Max was having multiple new clients turn up to sessions without gloves saying they'd been following him on instagram and loved his mindset and just wanted to come to have a chat to clear their minds, Max realised his purpose went much deeper than just holding pads, and so he began to do phone consultations and mentoring.
As max's online presence grew and he started sharing more of his knowledge and beliefs on social media, the feedback he was getting from people who had been taking his advice was again really good, and had followers reaching out to be coached by him in regards to transformation, general health and testosterone. Understanding the vast amount of knowledge he had to share and the results he had achieved on people over the years, Max compiled a coaching program.
TTM now offers services in boxing training face to face and over video, a coaching program for transformation, testosterone, mindset, general health, and over the phone mentoring and consults. with the goal is to reach and positively impact as many people as possible, mentally, physically and spiritually to become the best version of themselves. We believe this begins with having someone to guide, inspire and hold you accountable to achieve a healthy body and state of mind.
